金苑社区是广东省汕头市金平区东方街道下辖的社区，地处汕头主城区，因主辖金苑住宅区而得名，据博雅地名网，社区有1987户5789人（未注年份），面积0.15平方千米，辖3个居民小组。[1]

四至为：北面长平路、南面中山中路、西面公信路、东面金环南路。有东方中学、东方小学，以及市民政局、市建设局、金平区人民法院等单位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区设立于2002年，最初由金园区的龙眼街道管辖；2003年3月金园区撤并，改归东方街道。[1]
