十一合村在汕头市龙湖区新海街道，位于原新溪镇的西南侧，北靠金鸿公路，南临南海，离汕头中心城区约1公里，辖原十一合、四围、糖寮埔三个自然村[1][2]。近年村里的潮汕传统民居被改造成“十一合艺术村”，成为当地的文旅去处[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

相传清同治年间，澄海外砂的谢姓人家在港堀外围的海滩上围垦成村，这一片滩地从北往南依次排列，此村排在第十一位，故名十一合[1]。此地宋代归揭阳县的蓬洲都，1563年澄海建县，蓬洲都随之转入澄海县，民国时仍在澄海县上蓬区。1958年建人民公社，村里成立生产大队，次年一度随外砂公社划入汕头市郊区，1961年6月重新回到澄海县，隶属新溪公社[1]。

经济[edit]

村内人口6073人、1256户，耕地1737亩，其中水田579亩，种水稻、花生、玉米和蔬菜，蔬菜多销往汕头市区[2]。有渔船84只，年捕捞924吨，淡水养殖107亩，海水养殖159亩，水产品年产1154吨；工业企业19家，以毛织服装、塑料玩具、家具和食品加工为主[2]。2009年村里工业产出6000万元，农业产出4296万元，村集体收入36.7万元[2]。2021年和2022年，十一合村连续两年列入淘宝村名单[1]。

十一合艺术村[edit]

村内的民居是成片的潮汕传统格局，多为“下山虎”式[3][4]。当地在糖寮埔片区和四围片区做一期工程，计划投资一千多万元，内容有巷道改造、农房风貌提升、村心花园和展览中心等[3]。据2020年11月的报道，改造前村里一半以上的老宅荒废，改造后外来租户约140户，用来开民宿、私房菜和小商品店，巷道上有3D墙绘[4]。南方网同期报道称，两百多座老屋已出租约六成，每座老屋每年租金可达两万元，村民每年直接增收三百多万元[3]。

据百度百科所载，村内现存746座下山虎民居，村子还得到「广东省文化和旅游特色村」与「广东省粤菜美食街（城）」的称号[5]。
