香湾街道是广东省珠海市香洲区下辖的街道，在香洲城区东部，濒临香洲湾（香炉湾一带），因此得名。[1][3]街道总面积6.2平方千米，辖9个社区，办事处设在梅华东路237号。[1]街道办事处称这里是珠海的开埠之地和核心区域。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年4月，香洲区设立渔民办事处，后来的街道办事处即由它演变而来。[1]对成立香湾街道的时间，来源说法不一：街道办事处自述为1999年6月，[1]百度百科和博雅地名网则记为1996年6月。[2][3]

辖区内的香埠路一带是清宣统元年（1909年）开辟的香洲商埠旧址。这片老街后来定为香洲埠历史文化街区，2021年3月入选广东省第二批历史文化街区，建埠时的街巷格局和一些老建筑留存至今。[5]2022年1月，街道办事处在其网站上公示了香洲埠保护规划的批前公告。[6]

辖区以情侣路为东界，凤凰北路为西界，海滨北路为南界；北界据街道办事处为神前路，百度百科和博雅地名网则记为梅华东路。[1][2][3]

据街道办事处简介，辖区常住人口5.31万人；[1]百度百科记2020年11月的数字：常住5.06万人，流动1.17万人，合计6.23万人；[2]第七次全国人口普查（2020年）的结果为5.77万人，在香洲区各街道、镇中居第8位。[3]

经济[edit]

百度百科引用的2018年数据中，街道服务业营业收入为9.03亿元，规模以上工业总产值为4.53亿元，建筑业总产值则达32.72亿元。[2]街道办事处领导8个集体经济组织。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

香洲埠遗迹中的新两合渔栏（香埠路90、92、94号）和郭细记渔栏（朝阳路77号及香埠路80至86号），均为清代古建筑，2022年5月24日公布为第二批香洲区文物保护单位。[7][8]神前社区的凤凰山古道遗址年代为明，列为县级（香洲区）文物保护单位。[9]

野狸岛，别名名亭公园，是珠海离大陆最近的海岛，西距香洲大陆约400米，由海燕桥、新月桥与陆地相连，岛上有长3.5公里的环岛路海语路；[4]维基百科记其属香湾街道。珠海大剧院建在岛上，2010年4月动工，2017年起对外开放，有大、小两座剧场。[10]香炉湾畔的珠海渔女雕像建于1982年，高8.7米，2011年列为珠海市文物保护单位；[11]但维基百科记该雕像属吉大街道，归属说法不一。[12]
