梅华街道是广东省珠海市香洲区下辖的街道，位于区境东北部，香洲区人民政府驻在这里。街道四至为：以迎宾北路为东界、明珠北路为西界，南面到板樟山脚，北面到梅华西路，辖区面积共9.85平方千米。[1]这片地方原先归凤凰街道管辖，街道办事处于1999年6月10日挂牌成立。[1][2]2024年12月的统计是：户籍人口13.4万，常住人口18.3万，辖17个社区。[1]街道所在的片区常被称为“新香洲”，以区别于更早成形的老香洲。[3]

梅华街道由原凤凰街道办事处管辖的一部分地区划出而来，办事处在1999年6月10日成立。[1][2]博雅地名网转录的早期资料称，当时街道管着十一个社区居委会，计有南虹、翠东、红山、环山、翠前、新香、鸿运、富华、兴发、南村、上冲，辖区共有人口10.3万，其中常住5.2万、暂住3.8万。[2]此后又增设了悦城、鸿业、仁恒、敬业、创业等社区；翠福社区则在2021年1月19日由香洲区民政局批准设立。[4]2024年底街道共辖17个社区。[1]
地理环境[edit]
街道位于珠海市中心城区的东北部，南侧是板樟山，北侧是梅华西路。[1]新香洲这个叫法，指的是香洲区后来建成的新城区，大致包括梅华街道的大部分和前山街道北部，北起梅华西路，南到翠微路，东起迎宾北路。这个片区由前山、老香洲两处各拿出一块重新组合而成。[3]气候属亚热带季风气候。[1]

据博雅地名网的转录，第七次全国人口普查（2020年）时梅华街道的常住人口为13.67万人，在香洲区各街道、镇中居第3位。[2]2024年12月的户籍人口为13.4万，常住人口为18.3万。[1]
经济[edit]
街道内的工业区主要有华达工业区和上冲工业区。2024年，“四上”企业在辖区内共有235家，规模以上的工业企业仅3家，产值1.43亿元；有资质的建筑业企业33家，产值19.9亿元；房地产业企业12家；限额以上的住宿和餐饮业企业27家，营业额2.55亿元；限额以上批发零售业企业84家，销售额达107.7亿元；规模以上服务业企业76家，营业收入35.15亿元。[1]
公共设施[edit]
珠海市体育中心位于红山路，1998年10月建成，总投资8亿元，占地49万平方米，设有体育场、体育馆、游泳馆、射击馆、训练馆和网球中心，同月举行的广东省第十届运动会在此开幕。[5]2024年11月11日起体育中心暂停开放；据百度百科，2025年8月，政府依法收回了体育中心的约38.4万平方米土地。[5]此外，香洲区人民政府和珠海市科技中心等机构也设在街道辖区内。[2][3]
