翠香街道是广东省珠海市香洲区下辖的街道，位于区的中部，东面是香湾街道，南面是狮山街道，西面是前山街道。街道办事处设在香悦路63号。[1][2]

1986年建街。按街道办事处的简介，辖区东起凤凰路，西到迎宾北路，南靠板樟山，北至凤凰山，处在香洲新老城区的结合部；面积26平方千米，常住人口13.42万人。[1] 2020年11月的常住人口为13.43万人。[2] 辖区内有石溪摩崖石刻等与香山文化有关的遗迹，也是国家级非物质文化遗产「中医诊疗法（一指禅推拿）」和市级非遗项目意拳的所在地。[3][4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，1949年以前这里属中山县第五区；珠海县在1953年成立时，辖区划归香洲镇；到1986年11月才单设翠香街道。[2] 街道办事处的简介同样把建街的年份记作1986年。[1]

辖区西北的山场村，别名香山场，古称濠潭澳，百度百科称，757年（唐至德二年）这里设过香山镇，1152年香山立县，镇又改称香山场。[6] 每年农历七月二十四，山场、香山两个社区在城隍庙办「城隍诞」民俗活动，2024年那一届已是第二届，活动上设有百席「长者宴」，请两个社区60岁以上的老人免费赴宴，并有舞狮和前山凤鸡舞表演。[7]

地理环境[edit]

辖区南靠板樟山，北至凤凰山，东西向的人民东路、梅华西路和南北向的迎宾北路、紫荆路，以及兴业路，都从辖区经过。[1][8] 长途汽车客运站和公共汽车香洲总站在紫荆路东侧。[8]

人口与区划[edit]

街道办事处的简介说下辖16个社区居委会，名单里没有香山社区；[1] 百度百科记2023年8月为17个社区，[2] 本站的区划数据中另有香山社区。较早的博雅地名网概况（约2008年）写的是14个社区，当时辖区总人口约14万，其中户籍人口10万，城区面积12.8平方千米。[8]

百度百科记2018年的数字：地区生产总值168.2亿元，增长6.8%；规模以上工业企业总产值184.74亿元；同年规模以上批发零售企业的销售额为53.47亿元，规模以上服务业的收入为32.76亿元。[2] 博雅地名网的概况点名的企业，外资和合资制造一侧有松下马达、美蓓亚电子，商贸一侧有新一佳、家乐福、茂业百货。[8]

文化[edit]

「中医诊疗法（一指禅推拿）」的申报地是珠海，保护单位是香洲区的一指禅推拿中医门诊部；它2010年先成为区级非遗，2012年进入省级名录，2014年11月又列入国家级名录。[5] 2025年初，意拳又获批为市级非遗项目，街道办事处称这是辖区继一指禅推拿之后的第二个非遗项目；意拳由郭云深、王芗斋师徒创建传续，珠海意拳培训中心成立后，在大湾区传播渐广。[4]

博雅地名网的概况另说，辖区内设有珠海电视台、15所中小学，文体场地则有古元美术馆、柠溪文化广场和华发健身广场。[8]

名胜古迹[edit]

石溪摩崖石刻在山场村石牛岭山谷的溪畔，是清代鲍俊和朋辈文人仿兰亭雅集留下的，三十多处题刻的年代从1831年延续到1879年。它在1986年先列为市级文物保护单位，2002年升为省级；2010年起在原址建石溪公园。[9]

荣誉与基层治理[edit]

街道简介记载：2019年，其案例《「五领航」创新基层枢纽型社会组织新格局》得到全国创新社会治理优秀案例奖；2021年被评为珠海市先进基层党组织，同年还是珠海唯一一个获广东省平安建设先进集体称号的单位；2022年《创新「三务」融合 推进街区平安善治》获全国社会治理创新案例。[1] 山场社区的一次活动上，街道负责人称翠香是香洲区获评全国民主法治示范社区最多的街道。[10]

著名人物[edit]

  • 鲍俊（1797年—1851年）：香山县山场乡（今山场村）人，道光二年中举，次年中进士，官至刑部主事，后辞官，在石溪营建亦兰亭，留下石溪摩崖石刻群。[11]
