长圳社区原为长圳村，在深圳市光明区玉塘街道东部，茅洲河从旁流过。村子始建于明崇祯年间（1628—1644年），2004年改为社区，面积5.17平方千米，下辖7个居民小组。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

百度百科记载，村落由曾姓十九世曾景楼自宝安新桥的下西村迁来而成。当时村后山上有长丰庵，香火很旺，附近形成称作「长镇墟」的墟市，后来衰落。「镇」与「圳」谐音，加上村旁有河，遂改称长圳。原住民多为曾氏，与玉律、沙井黄埔、新桥等地的曾氏同源。[1]博雅地名网对村名的说法不同，称祖先迁来时村里有一条绵长的河渠（圳）。[3]

2023年11月调整后，社区辖区东至凤凰社区，南至石岩街道，西至田寮、玉律两个社区，北至长松路，原辖区的一部分划入新设的玉塘社区。[4]

人口与文化[edit]

博雅地名网载，社区户籍人口705人，外来人口约6.4万人；2010年成立长圳曲艺社，社员35人，社区内有约15000平方米的长圳公园。[2]

2020年，长圳社区开展基层治理改革试点，并获评「广东省民主法治示范社区」。[5]
