玉律社区也叫玉律村，在深圳市光明区玉塘街道南部，南邻石岩水库一带，境内有玉律温泉。村子的开创可追溯到南宋绍定年间（1228—1233年）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，最初的村庄叫玉勒村，由莫姓九世祖莫逐安从东莞茶山迁来开辟。1543年（明嘉靖二十二年），曾姓十四世曾德贵也从宝安新桥搬来定居。清嘉庆《新安县志》的舆地图上，此地仍作玉勒村，属福永司，由此推断，改称「玉律」是在嘉庆以后。[1]博雅地名网另有一说，称先祖是读书人，取「玉学麒麟，律法至上」之意为村名。[2]
地理与经济[edit]
社区地处丘陵谷地，山岭有华盖山、乌云顶山、大头角山、大髻婆山等。[1]博雅地名网载，社区面积9.6平方千米，总人口5.5万多人，其中户籍居民886人，有近90家大中型企业入驻，厂房及宿舍265栋，面积106.5万平方米；这些数字出自社区早年的介绍，当时社区尚属公明办事处。[2]
文化[edit]
玉律温泉在社区境内，泉眼最高水温67.3摄氏度，属苏打碳酸型，已列入中华名温泉目录；20世纪80年代曾建成石岩湖温泉度假村。[3]玉塘街道办事处称它是明代「新安八景」之一，并计划在此建设温泉文旅度假区。[4]
2020年，「玉律醒狮」列入光明区级非物质文化遗产名录，街道同时活化利用曾氏祠堂、玉墟宫；社区还建有玉律公园共建花园和麒麟广场。[5]
