中英街社区是广东省深圳市盐田区沙头角街道下辖的社区，以深港边界上的中英街为名，辖区含沙栏吓客家自然村。社区面积约0.179平方千米，居民中既有大陆居民，也有香港居民。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1898年英国租借新界后，当地设界碑，界碑所在的街巷称「沙头角中英街」，社区沿用此名。1984年4月，中英街、沙栏吓两个居委会先后设立，这是此地最早的居委会；2001年12月两会合并，成为盐田区首个「居改社」示范社区。博雅地名网的另一处记载把合并写作2002年。[1][2]

地理环境与人口[edit]

社区面积约0.179平方千米，居住人口约6077人，大陆居民3143人，香港居民有2927人，另有外籍7人。住宅小区有碧海苑、创意大厦、海天园和东和海韵园四处，城中村是沙栏吓村，辖区内另有学校、幼儿园各一所和一个社康服务中心。[2]

社区党委下设6个党支部，有党员65名。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

中英街长约250米，宽约3至4米，原为沙头角河的河床，街心以界碑为界。1899年3月16日起勘界，18日结束；街上立有8块界碑，广东省1989年6月将其列为省文保单位，2019年10月又进入国务院公布的第八批国保名单。文化部、国家文物局在2012年6月8日授予中英街「中国历史文化名街」。[3][4][5]

2014年12月16日，盐田区设立中英街管理局，负责这片边境特别管理区的社会、经济、文化和城市管理事务。警世钟在2001年1月26日举行挂钟仪式；2002年起，每到3月18日就在钟前举办警示纪念活动。[4]

辖区内的沙栏吓村，据百度百科为吴氏客家人于清康熙八年（1669年）所建。村里的天后宫、吴氏宗祠均为深圳市文物保护单位，沙头角鱼灯舞也发源于此，2008年被列为国家级非物质文化遗产。[6]

中英街历史博物馆位于环城路，1999年5月1日开放。[7]

荣誉[edit]

荣誉方面：2019年9月名列广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度）；2022年3月，列入深圳市住建部门认定的首批绿色宜居社区；2024年4月，社区名称入选深圳市首批地名保护名录。[1]
