荷坳社区是园山街道的6个社区之一，在街道北部，毗邻龙岗中心城，社区由荷坳村发展而来。龙岗区政府网站载，面积3.55平方千米，共3.0万人（户籍0.95万），只有荷坳一个居民小组。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

荷坳村古名上淮贺村：淡水河古称淮水，龙岗河被称作上淮，村由此得名；村处两水相夹，又写作河凹、何村。[2]百度百科的说法是，“河”与“荷”、“凹”与“坳”同音，故作荷坳；并称龙岗河与爱联河在此交汇。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

村中陈氏自宋代陈康适（1174—1189年间）开基，至今传了28代，时间已有800余年。[2]百度百科据《荷坳厚德堂陈氏族谱》称，陈康适曾在惠州归善县盐场任职，后辞官在此置业。[3]元至元十六年（1279年）村属惠州路归善县；民国时属惠阳县；1958年归宝安县。2004年9月成立荷坳社区居民委员会。[2]2006年，格坑、红旗、龙口三个小组从辖区中分出，另立龙红格社区，归龙城街道；荷坳社区则重设居委会。[2]2016年起属园山街道。[2]

经济[edit]

除荷坳居民小组外，社区还辖有「长江布、富地铺、金源、莲塘尾、坪布仔」五个工业区。[2]百度百科称，荷坳在1997年试点农村股份合作制，所形成的做法称“荷坳模式”，后来扩展为“龙岗模式”。[4]大运软件小镇由莲塘尾工业区改造，2013年11月开园。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

百度百科载，村内保存有荷坳住宅式炮楼院和兰桂书室，后者为西洋风格灰塑。[3][4]

荣誉[edit]

荷坳社区在2022年8月入选第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[2]
