大康社区是园山街道的6个社区之一，位于街道中部、惠盐路东侧，旧称山子吓。辖区面积12.09平方千米，分为莘塘、上中、龙村、下中、大凤、大万、福田7个小组。园山风景区在社区境内。[1][2][3]

名称由来与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网载，社区原称山子吓，清末此地设有一所大康学校，新中国成立初期定名大康。解放战争时期，东江纵队领导的游击战争以此地为中心。[2]百度百科称抗日战争时期此地是东江纵队游击区，曾发生铜锣径伏击战。[3]

建国后的隶属几经变动：1950年在惠阳县第三区；1958年10月龙岗人民公社成立，大康被叫作“西康营”；次年改隶沙头角公社，1963年转入横岗公社；1983年随横岗区归宝安县，1993年归龙岗区；2004年9月，改设大康社区居委会。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

社区内海拔599米的鹅公髻是自然景观之一。[3]龙岗区政府网站载，社区有6.43万人，户籍的只有0.38万。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

园山风景区占地约10平方千米，以山地与沟谷为主，植被基本保持原貌；街道称其中的“园山探幽”入选龙岗十景。[4][5]2023年5月，深圳眼镜公园在社区建成开放。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，大康社区获广东省“卫生村”称号；2022年3月被认定为首批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[2]
