坪地社区在深圳市龙岗区坪地街道的中心地段，辖区约1.25平方千米，是个纯居民社区。[1] 社区由原坪地居委会改制设立，所以沿用了「坪地」之名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

坪地居委会成立于1987年，2002年「居改社」后定名为坪地社区居委会；2006年12月26日，社区工作站挂牌成立。[2][3]

人口与社区建设[edit]

据龙岗区政府网站的社区概况，社区总人口6303人，其中户籍1216人。社区曾获广东省「六好」平安和谐社区、广东省宜居社区、深圳市文明社区等称号。[1]
