上寮社区是深圳市宝安区新桥街道中南部的社区，距街道办事处约2.5千米，辖区面积约2.55平方千米。东邻黄埔社区，南面是福永街道，西邻万丰社区，北面与上星社区相连，107国道从社区中间穿过。[1]

社区的前身是上寮村，居民绝大多数姓曾，世居村民为广府人。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，上寮村约在明朝中期形成：新桥曾氏始祖曾仕贵的第十二代孙曾寿仁迁到此地，后来曾熙德带着子孙修建善庆围，村落由此立起。村名取自在田头搭寮棚看守庄稼的做法。[3]

地理环境[edit]

上寮河源出沙井屋山水库与七沥水库之间，流经本地。[3] 博雅地名网的旧介绍写作占地3.7平方千米，与街道办事处的数字有别。[2]

街道办事处称，社区居住人口6.2万人，其中户籍人口1539人。[1] 百度百科记2015年末户籍人口1459人。[3]

传统上村民种水稻、红薯、甘蔗、花生并养鱼；改革开放后，收入主要来自出租房屋、集体分红和工资。[3] 社区只有上寮股份合作公司1家，辖内有城中村3个、工矿企业401家。[1] 博雅地名网称，辖区的上寮农贸批发市场是深圳西部规模最大的农产品批发市场之一。[2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

博雅地名网称，上寮曾氏自认是曾子的后裔；南宋时曾仕贵从南雄珠玑巷避乱，到东莞县归德盐栅的新桥村落脚，其后人分布在新桥、坭桥、上寮、上星、黄埔以及惠州等地。上寮曾氏祠堂被列为宝安区重点保护文物之一，社区内另有醒狮队等文体团体。[2]
