福永社区位于深圳市宝安区福永街道中心区偏西，紧邻深圳国际机场和福永飞翼船码头，辖区面积约0.9平方公里，下辖8个居民小组。[1]相传元代初年，村中三姓族人商议，希望族人和睦、幸福永远，遂取名“福永”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
福永社区地域在1949年以前属宝安县第二区第四乡；1949年属宝安县新桥联乡，1950年属福永村农民协会，1951年属第四区福永乡，1954年属第一区福永乡，1956年10月成为福永区福永乡的明星高级农业合作社，次年福永区并入上南区，1958年10月属超美人民公社。[1]
