白石厦社区是深圳市宝安区福永街道的社区，总面积5平方公里，下辖6个居民小组。[1][2]村名由半山腰一块显眼的白色巨石而来，先称“白石下”，后改写为“白石厦”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，元朝中期（1315—1340年），文应麟的次子文若凤看中白石下一带肥沃的田地，从岭下（今凤凰村）迁来，开垦田地五十顷，立村成庄。[1]随着村中读书人增多，村名被改写为“白石厦”。[1]新中国成立前该地属宝安县，此后称福永镇白石厦村民委员会等；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2022年8月被认定为「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」，2024年1月被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

社区建有西区、东区、新塘、龙王庙、新开发区和白石厦高新科技园等6个工业区，据该网所称有厂房和宿舍187万平方米、工厂企业181家，另有商铺3000多家。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙王古庙在凤凰山脚，最初由明代白石厦文氏族人所建，用以祈求丰收和出海平安；民国初年成为废墟，2000年村里决定在原址按原貌重建。[3]
