辖区东以创业一路为界，南靠宝安大道，北接107国道。[3] 社区集工业、商贸、城中村和住宅小区于一体，博雅地名网概况页记有企业单位229家、商铺1090家。[1][3]

2000年4月，海富居委会分出海华居委会。[2] 2006年2月成立社区工作站，2010年6月成立驻社区党委。[3]
