翠鹏社区在深圳市罗湖区东湖街道东部，1996年4月成立，辖区以深沙路、东湖路、东晓路和原“二线”路为界，面积0.31平方千米。[1]名称由来，博雅地名网说是辖区内有鹏城花园，又紧靠东湖，周围一片翠绿，各取一字。[1]

沿革与人口[edit]

2006年9月，依照区里推行“一站多居”、整合工作站的文件，翠鹏社区与太白社区合并为翠鹏社区工作站，下辖翠鹏、太白2个居委会。[1]博雅地名网记总人口约2.03万，其中户籍1.2万、流动人口0.83万，共6308户（未注明年份）。[1]
