上长塘村是乐昌市两江镇西南部的行政村，与镇中心相距9公里，省道304线从村中穿过，划分为19个村小组[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为上长塘大队，1983年改设乡政府，1987年称村委会，1989年又改管理区，1998年重设村委会，沿用至今[1]。

经济[edit]

博雅地名网所载村情称，村内有2287人、464户。林地27526亩，耕地2360亩；村民多种水果和杉木。农民人均年纯收入为4039元，集体一年的收入为1.7万元[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，上长塘村进入「第二批国家森林乡村」名单；2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予「广东省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，被认定为「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（黄金柰李）；2023年4月，又列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位[1]。
