天井山林场是韶关市乳源瑶族自治县的一处省属国有林场，坐落在县的西部、南岭南麓，统计上按乡级单位列入乳源瑶族自治县[3]。林场建于1958年；2016年12月起，它是广东省林业局直属的正处级事业单位，兼作广东天井山国家森林公园的管理机构[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

天井山林场建于1958年[1]。百度百科称，林场起初以采伐和育林为主，后来转向「以林蓄水、以水发电、以电养林、林电并举」的路子[2]。

2008年12月，国家林业局批准这里建为国家森林公园，维基百科称其前身即天井山林场[4]。2016年12月，省编委核准其为省林业局直属单位，级别正处，属公益一类，并增挂森林公园管理处的牌子[1]。为适应国有林场改革，原先的经营业务交给新设的云锦实业公司统一管理[1]。

地理环境[edit]

林场位于乳源瑶族自治县西部，属南岭南麓骑田岭一带，全场计42万亩，合286平方千米，约为全县土地的七分之一；森林覆盖率为97.6%，北江的主要源头之一在此[1]。其中国家森林公园的面积为5564.1公顷，在323国道旁，距乳源县城38公里[5]。

机构与管护[edit]

场部设7个科室，另有9个管护站，元洞站是其中之一；在册职工约800人，近400人已退休[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

林场的资源，据省林业局所述，有常绿阔叶林、山地矮林、云锦杜鹃、桫椤、落羽杉、陀螺果，地质上有豹纹石，另有瀑布；古道有秦汉古道和西京古道[1]。每年举办的节庆有陀螺花节、云锦杜鹃节、森林漫步节[1]。
