历史沿革[edit]

2014年设立社区时，原韶钢街道办事处的北区居委会改称北区社区居委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

北区社区于2022年11月被确定为全国综合减灾示范社区（2021年度），也在广东省2018年民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）之列。[1]
