社区面积约0.1平方千米，有6条街巷，名为熏风路、建国路、老东门巷、武镇街、兴隆街和漂布塘街[1]。据博雅地名网（未注明年份），社区有1370户、3937人，另有流动人口290人；辖区内有怡景花园、富康大厦等住宅，并有水产品批发等市场[1]。社区被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单公布于2019年9月[1]。
