居委会1990年设立，称群康居委会；2002年6月起改称社区居委会，沿用至今。[2][1]
地理环境[edit]
东面以新兴路为界，西面到幸福家园，南邻侨新小区，北面到姐妹岭。[1]

全社区计3060户，10718人；另有居委干部5名。[1]
文化[edit]
据百度百科，社区办公地点在明居园首层；2023年7月，社区与一家篮球培训机构合作，在韶州公园办了一期公益篮球班，有70余名青少年参加。[2]
