五华村是广州市花都区新华街道辖下的行政村，是街道里的城中村之一。村民从三华村迁出，建成5个小自然村，取名五华。村下设7个村民小组，总人口2400多人（博雅地名网引述的村情介绍，未注明年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清初花县设县后，这一带归横潭的狮岭巡检司管辖；咸丰四年（1854年）巡检司撤销，在横潭置「一心约」，一年后改称「一心局」，五华随之归一心局管辖。[1]

1950年划归三华乡，次年转属公益乡人民政府；1955年定名为五华村，三年后改称五华大队；1984年改设管理区，1987年1月再改为村委会。此后先后属新华区公所、新华镇人民政府，2005年起隶属新华街道办事处。[1]

经济[edit]

村集体收入主要靠出租房屋和商铺。90年代到21世纪初，村里有一家与村同名的五华货仓，是花都本地较早出现的自选式大型商场；地铁9号线的花城路站也在村内。[1][2]

荣誉方面，2019年9月，村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

著名人物[edit]

黄花岗七十二烈士中，有3人出自五华村，分别是徐廉辉、徐松根和徐应安。东华庄、凤华庄、五华直街是村里花都人熟知的地方。[2]
