大陵村是广州市花都区新华街道辖下的行政村，在街道的偏远一侧，与白云区神山镇相邻。村名来自村西的一座大土丘（丘陵）。村域约2平方千米，下设10个村民小组，总人口2700多人，数字出自博雅地名网引述的村情介绍（未注明年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前后，大陵一带称新五乡。1958年，上陵、中陵、莲溪和新村各自成立高级农业社；1963年四社并成大陵大队，大陵乡在1983年出现，两年后又改设村委会。1987年起，村先后属新华区公所、新华镇人民政府，2005年起隶属新华街道办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
村里利用本地土地做「三旧改造」来发展集体经济：把旧染整厂改建为农民工公寓，把旧学校改造成市场；各经济社则以出租土地、建厂房取得收入。[1]
2023年5月，广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予大陵村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2024年11月，它被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
姓氏宗族[edit]
村里的常氏大宗祠，据搜狐号文章所述，是广东常姓族人的祖祠，各地常姓多由此分支。[2]
著名人物[edit]
常炯堂（原名常炯坤）创制并经营「常炯堂快应茶」；新中国成立后公私合营时，快应茶与王老吉合并，是今天广东凉茶的来源之一。[2]
