历史沿革[edit]

2024年11月，该社区被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]；广州市住房和城乡建设局认定它为「广州市2022年绿色社区」，时间在2022年11月[1]。

广州北站在新华街道境内，京广铁路由此贯穿街道南北，社区的名称即取自这座车站的方位。[1][2]
