穗石村位于广州市番禺区小谷围街道的小谷围岛东部，是岛上保留下来的4个行政村之一，村委会在穗石大道56号。相传建村于北宋末年，村名与村后山岗上的一块巨石有关。村中有两处广州市文物保护单位：林氏大宗祠和清代的炮台遗址。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

传说村后山岗有巨石，石旁立一株大松树，浓荫覆石，乡人视为吉兆，称其地为「瑞石」；又因广州别称「穗」，周边地名多带「穗」字，遂定名穗石。地名志记其宋末已称穗石。[1]

穗石村民委员会1987年成立，隶属新造镇，2004年起属小谷围街道。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

村域约3.68平方公里，邻近华南理工大学和广东药科大学的校区。大学城建设前村民务农；建设后一部分留居原地，一部分因拆迁迁往谷围新村。村集体收入依靠土地发包，以及旧村闲置用地、村属商铺和渡船的出租。[1]

区政府统计，小谷围岛东区以穗石村为中心，共有14处受保护的建筑遗产点，是岛上各片区中数量最多的。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

穗石村林氏大宗祠在穗石大街52号，主体建于1738年（乾隆三年），1990年修缮过。祠堂朝东，共三进，占地约1587平方米，广州市政府在2008年12月把它列入第七批市级文物保护单位。[2][4]

穗石村炮台遗址在村北的马展岗东北麓、今广东药科大学校园内，清代修筑，以三合土夯成15个呈弧形排列的炮洞，可见存放火药缸的壁龛；炮台后有一座约5米高的土丘，居高可望沥滘水道。遗址面积约2500平方米，与林氏大宗祠同在2008年的那一批市级保护单位中。[2][5]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月，穗石村获认定为当年的广州市充分就业村。[1]
