保税社区是广州市黄埔区夏港街道下辖的社区，辖区内有较大的住宅小区广州保税区小区，社区之名由此派生。[1]社区原名东晖社区，2012年12月改用今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

前身东晖社区的辖区，2005年8月起并入夏港街道一部分土地：东晖农民公寓以西、原归穗东街夏园村的地段。[1]到2006年，广州保税区从青年社区划出，与保税广场、农民公寓一起并入东晖社区，当年12月设社区工作站。[1]

2007年6月选出东晖社区居民委员会，2012年12月改称保税社区居民委员会；2014年社区转属黄埔区。[1]社区在2021年被列为广州市绿色社区，2024年获评广州市高质量就业社区。[1]
