双沙社区是广州市黄埔区红山街道下辖的社区，红山街道6个社区中由村转制而来的一个，由双岗、沙浦、华坑三条自然村组成。[1][2] 「双沙」取自双岗、沙浦两村名称的各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2002年8月1日，原黄埔区大沙镇的双沙村委会改为居委会，这是当时撤镇设街、改村为居的做法之一。[1][2] 三条自然村的村民，据当地介绍均从南雄珠玑巷迁来。[2]

地理环境[edit]

社区东接庙头社区，西靠文冲社区，南面是珠江，北面越过广深铁路是夏园新村，广深公路穿过辖区，占地约6平方千米。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，社区有1109户，常住4400余人，转制居民占其中的2650人，另有流动人口7000余人。[2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

双岗村以区氏为主，兼有利、郭、李、陈、梁等姓，明嘉靖年间始建于山坡上，因身后有两座小山岗而名双岗。沙浦村则是岑氏为主，另有钟姓，明永乐元年（1403年）建村，背靠背底山，面前沙丘叫下沙园，临江故称「浦」。华坑村建于明洪武五年（1372年），以简氏为主，1962年划归双沙大队。[2]

社区下设五个股份经济合作社。[2]

文化[edit]

双沙社区于2019年9月入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，2024年11月入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区」名单，2026年1月又入选「2025年广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区」名单。[1]

交通[edit]

广州地铁5号线设有双沙站。[3]
