远航钢社区是广州市黄埔区红山街道下辖的社区，辖区是广州中远船务工程、广州航道局和广州钢管厂三家单位的职工宿舍区，社区名称取自三家单位名称中的各一字。[1][2] 它在街道内编为第三居民委员会。[2]

地理环境[edit]

社区由远航小区、钢管厂小区两片住宅区加上钢管厂、中远船务两处厂区构成，合计约18万平方米，居委会管理的只是两片住宅区。[2] 远航小区在沙浦北苑路一带，有8栋住宅楼和职工之家等配套建筑，面积约1.2万平方米；钢管小区在沙岗街和沙浦东路，面积约2.3万平方米，有3座宿舍楼和4栋旧楼。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，社区户籍人口约780人，实际居住约1200人；其中远航小区户籍约610人、居住约930人，钢管小区户籍约157人、居住约280人。[2]

文化[edit]

远航钢社区于2021年11月获市住建部门确定，列入「广州市2021年绿色社区」，2024年11月入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区」名单。[1]
