红星亭岗社区是广州市白云区石门街道辖下的社区，由原红星村分设的两个社区之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传宋末有一位太子死在附近，遗体曾停放在山岗上，这里因此叫「停子岗」，后来写作亭岗。「红星」二字则取自纪念解放战争胜利和新中国成立的寓意。[1]
1958年1月，石井一带划归广州市郊区管辖；红星在1968年3月设大队，1995年仍是石井镇的一个行政村。到2002年撤镇建街，红星村改为社区；村民在当年10月转为非农业居民，由于辖区面积大、人口多，一分为二设两个居委会，亭岗为其一。[1]
社区在2021年11月入选「广州市2021年绿色社区」，2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]地铁8号线的亭岗站设在石门街道境内。[2]
