磨刀坑社区是广州市白云区永平街道辖下的社区，居委会设在磨刀西街一巷。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
当地传说，村前的水坑边有一块大石，是仙人磨刀用的，村庄因此叫磨刀坑；居委会主要管辖这一带，社区沿用此名。[1]
古代建庄，原属同和镇永泰村；2001年撤镇建街后归永平街道，同年批准成立磨刀坑居委会。[1]
2021年11月，社区入选「广州市2021年绿色社区」名单。[1]
