京麟社区是白云区京溪街道下属社区之一，2001年成立。「麟」意为麒麟，因同街道内已有金麟社区，改用街道名中的「京」字加以区别。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区原意取「金色的麒麟」，但辖区内另有一个居委会叫金麟，为了区分，改用京溪街道的「京」字，定名京麟。社区成立于2001年，名称沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，该社区入选「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月，获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
