京宇社区在白云区京溪街道境内，由2001年村改居时的京溪街第四居民委员会演变而来，2003年改用现名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是2001年村改居时设立的京溪街第四居民委员会，2003年易名为京宇社区居民委员会，之后未再变动。名称中的「京」指京溪街道，「宇」取自「天鹏恒宇」的「宇」字。[1]

文化[edit]

2026年1月，该社区获评「2025年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
