握山社区是广州市白云区同和街道辖下的社区，辖区是握山村一带。[1]握山村在解放战争时期是广州东北郊人民游击队的根据地，其明何公祠是这段历史的见证。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所记，握山之名出自村落兴建时周围群山相连、仿佛彼此相握的地形；居委会设在握山村范围内并管辖这一带，社区便沿用此名，名称自命名起未再改变。[1]

1951年，同和一带的京溪、麦地、白灰场、蟹山和握山五个村合组山溪乡，握山是其中之一。[4]何屋社区原本是握山村的一部分，后来分出。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

早在1937年，司徒卫中（中国农工民主党负责人，时任广东民众抗敌御侮救亡会指导员）到禺北办农民夜校，握山、白山、白水塘都有，握山的夜校就借用其明何公祠。[2]1947年初，共产党员李汉光、陈红娇等受派到握山等地的农村小学任教，握山小学就设在这座祠堂里；其间，番禺县工委与广州东北郊人民游击队在同和一带打游击，把握山村当作长期的据点，祠堂则充当指挥部。[2]

广州市人民政府于1996年11月批准，确认握山村为解放战争时期的游击根据地。其明何公祠在2010年11月成为区级文物保护单位，如今还用作同和街的青少年爱国主义教育场所。[2][3]白云区文物保护单位名录记其明何公祠为清代建筑，地址在握山中路55号；握山中路60号旁的白鸽窦老井，同为清代的区登记文物。[6]

著名人物[edit]

何仲云，1929年11月生于握山村，1952年4月加入中国共产党，曾任番禺县罗岗乡副乡长、乡长，后在番禺县总工会任职。[7]

文化[edit]

握山社区在2022年11月被广州市住房和城乡建设局认定为「广州市2022年绿色社区」，2024年11月又被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
