上步社区在广州市白云区同德街道，管辖原上步村一带，地铁8号线设有上步站。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

「步」即埗头、码头，上步村名即由水边的码头而来。[1][3]该村原属石井镇同德村委会，街道设立后划归街道；1995年村改居，起初叫「同上居委会」，至2002年8月才定名上步居委会。[1]

上步桥[edit]

广州环城高速东西向穿过粤溪村与上步村之间，把同德围分成南北两片，西槎路在此仅靠上步桥跨越。2010年1月，桥墩被撞损，桥因修复而封闭近一个月。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月，该社区获认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
