名称与沿革[edit]

社区的名字里，“兴”指长兴街，“安”指安全；辖区内有部队、司法、交警等单位。[1] 2003年街道重新划分地域时，兴安是新设的4个社区之一。[2]

2022年11月，它列入「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月，入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
