穗东社区在广州市天河区天园街道，天河公园东侧，因辖区内的穗东花园得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区居委会1996年设立，起初归棠下街道管，1999年天园街道成立后改属天园街道。[1][3]
地理环境[edit]
辖区西起天府路，东到棠石路，南至黄埔大道，北至中山大道（快懂百科对东西两侧的写法与此相反）。[1][2]建筑面积约70多万平方米，绿化覆盖率约七成。[1]天河公园、天河区中医院、伟诚花园、仙湖茗园、海景花园等在其管辖范围内。[2]
人口民族[edit]
社区约有2000多户、5000多人。[1]
文化[edit]
社区在2021年11月入选广州市绿色社区，2019年9月列入广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建工作2018年度的入选社区之列，2024年11月被认定为当年的广州市充分就业社区。[1][3]
