历史沿革[edit]
社区的住宅区以20世纪50年代兴建的国营工厂宿舍为主，其中有广州电池厂和珠江造纸厂的职工住宅。[1]
地理环境[edit]
百度百科记社区东起天河软件园边缘，南邻黄埔大道中，西、北两面至棠石路，面积约0.06平方千米；快懂百科则称辖区呈三角形，面积约0.5平方千米，二者不一致。[1][2]

社区约有2209户、6050人，其中60岁以上的老人858人。[1]
文化[edit]
2021年社区做微改造，把一块400平方米的荒地建成文化长廊，并翻新道路、整治架空线、加装无障碍通道。社区同年被评为广州市绿色社区。[1][3]辖区有广厦居、粤韵庭院、海景大厦、新景苑四个物业小区，天园街道办事处和天园派出所也在其中。[2]
