棠德北社区属广州市天河区棠下街道，管辖棠德花苑中轴线以北的部分，居委会设在棠德西四街。[1][2]

概况[edit]

棠德花苑在棠下村以北，北临广深铁路，南靠中山大道，曾是广州规模较大的解困房小区。[1] 社区在1999年10月成立，以位于花苑北半区而得名，占地约16万平方米，约有4843户、1.25万居民，其中租住廉租房的困难家庭500多户。[1] 辖区内有棠苑物业管理公司和广州广播电视大学天河分校。[1][2] 社区还设立慈善基金，帮助困难居民。[1]

社区的特点是下岗失业家庭、困难家庭和残疾人较多；辖内另有天河区高级职业中学棠德校区等。2021年11月被确定为广州市绿色社区。[3]
