棠德南社区属广州市天河区棠下街道，管辖棠德花苑的南半部，棠德西路是它的西界。[1]
概况[edit]
社区筹建始于2000年8月，居委会在2002年6月才正式成立。[1] 辖区约32万平方米，是广州市解困安居工程的一部分，北边挨着广深铁路与广园快速路。[1] 区内住着4750户、11875人，设有棠德南小学、两所幼儿园和邮局，另有商铺六十多间。[1] 社区老年人和困难家庭比例偏高，设有党支部、服务站和老年协会。[1]
