林和街道是广东省广州市天河区下辖的街道，处在天河区中部，天河体育中心以东一带，辖13个社区，街道办事处设在林和西路101号。[1][2]
街道总面积3.19平方千米；2020年第七次人口普查时，常住人口74111人。[1] 它设于1995年12月，因林和村得名。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
1995年12月，林和村从沙河镇划出，天河南街中的天河体育中心以东地区、沙河街中的广州大道以东地区也一并划入，三部分合成林和街道。[1][3]
街道名取自林和村。关于村名，博雅地名网记的一说是：此地原称林婆庄，相传是明代嘉靖年间广东状元林大钦购下的田庄，交他家中一位老妇看管，因而得名；街巷口过去建有两道闸门，门上刻着「林婆庄」三字。快懂百科另记一说：村在高处，需挑水淋灌禾苗，「淋禾」音近「林和」。该条目称林和村于清代形成。[2][3]
各社区中，天河北、天誉、天寿、恒怡、侨庭、润和、花生寮、雅康等社区居委会于2002年前后成立；华新社区2009年10月、林和西社区2013年7月才设立。[3]
地理环境[edit]
林和街道东起猎德涌，与石牌街道相邻；南面以天河路、天河北路为界，连着天河南街道；西至广州大道中，隔路是沙河街道；北面沿禺东西路到兴华路口和瘦狗岭一带，邻沙东、兴华两个街道。[1] 博雅地名网引用的旧数据说，2003年街道面积为3.8平方千米，当年总人口72671人，其中常住41795人、外来暂住30876人。[3]
维基百科列出的地铁站有1号线的广州东站、体育中心站，3号线的广州东站、石牌桥站，以及11号线的广州东站。[4]

快懂百科、百度百科记载，林和街道2011年的社会商品销售总额为1490.98亿元，其他服务业总产值为236.78亿元。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
刘氏家庙是广州市省级文物保护单位（2008年公布的第五批），由刘永福主持兴建，1898年动工，1900年落成，三路两进，占地3000平方米上下，建成的房屋共1147平方米。刘永福驻军燕塘期间曾在这里居住。2004年，家庙由广州市文化局移交天河区政府管理，后来用作天河区博物馆。[2][5] 快懂百科把它列为林和街道的文物；广州日报的报道写的地址是广州大道中1430号之一，博雅地名网则称其在沙河大洲地2号。[2][3][5]
据博雅地名网，街道一带还有黄埔军校燕塘分校旧址（在沙河禺东西路的解放军体育学院内，利用清末新军的燕塘营地设立，始于1924年）和冯如坠机处纪念碑（在花生寮）。冯如在1912年8月25日于燕塘飞行表演中失事殉职。[3]
