西街社区是广州市天河区沙河街道东南部的社区，占地0.14平方千米，范围东起广州大道，西到龙岗路，南至水荫四横路，北达先烈东路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

居委会办公地点原在先烈东路西街，社区因此得名。[1] 1962年5月，这里设为第二居委会；1996年1月11日改称西街居民委员会；2002年6月14日改为现名。[1]

社区概况[edit]

博雅地名网所载居委会资料称，户籍户数2457（含拆迁户459），常住5593人；另有1324户出租屋、3129名暂住人口。[1] 辖区由省农业厅宿舍、市公安学校宿舍和白云区人民医院宿舍三个小区组成，区内单位有白云区人民医院，还有沙河邮局、沙河宾馆、龙岗路小学等。[1]

社区获评「广州市2022年绿色社区」「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」，2026年1月又获「2025年广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）」。[1]
