黄埔村在广州市海珠区琶洲街道，位于琶洲岛东部，三面临水，隔江与黄埔区的长洲岛相对。村子相传建于北宋嘉祐年间，原名凤浦；清代外国商船须在村旁的码头下锚，「黄埔」之名随之传到海外。2013年8月，黄埔村列入第二批中国传统村落名录。[1][4]
历史沿革[edit]
据广州日报引《广州市地名志》，村址原是珠江边的滩涂，古称「浦」，故有凤浦、黄圃、凰洲等旧名。外国商人读音不准，常把「凤浦」说成「黄埔」，名称由此改变。[4]另有说法认为村子在北宋时已聚居成村，南宋时这里已是「海舶所集之地」。[3][4]
明代，广州的外港从扶胥港移到琵琶洲和黄埔村一带，码头因附近的酱园而称酱园码头。1685年（清康熙二十四年）粤海关在这里设黄埔挂号口。1757年清政府只留粤海关一处对外通商，外国商船须先到黄埔停泊、纳税，再由引水人带入广州。据《黄埔港史》，1758年至1837年间停泊在黄埔古港的外国商船共5107艘。[2][3][4]同治年间（1862—1874年），挂号口移到对岸的长洲岛，但仍沿用「黄埔」之名。[3][4]
古港与古建筑[edit]
黄埔古港遗址在村前的石基河口一带，如今是一处小港湾，长约1000米，最宽处约600米。遗址于2002年列为广州市文物保护单位。2006年为迎接仿古商船「哥德堡号」来访，村前重建了码头，辟为景区，内有「粤海第一关纪念馆」等；2023年4月，景区评为国家3A级旅游景区。[2][3]
村里保留了岭南风格的古建筑，有蚝壳墙、麻石街，镬耳屋、砖雕、木雕、灰塑也随处可见。第三次全国文物普查共记下村中文物线索46处，27处是市级或更高级别的文物建筑，包括12座古祠堂。[6]村中的祠堂街一带有数座祠堂，现存的祠堂有十多座，据说鼎盛时有三十多座；另有洪圣殿、北帝庙、华佗古庙、天后庙等庙宇。[4]2009年海珠区政府启动古港古村历史文化景区的保护工程，2011年该景区被评为「海珠十大新名片」。[6]
据旧时的说法，村子周围曾有八个池塘，依次名为天、地、玄、黄、宇、宙、洪、荒，塘基上种荔枝，花开时远看如一条白蛇，称「宇宙银蛇」。[4]

中新网2009年的报道记，村里有胡、梁、罗、冯四大姓：罗氏在北宋时已迁来，冯氏南宋迁入，胡氏元代从福建崇安迁来，梁氏最晚，明代迁入。[5]
文化[edit]
村里至今有元宵花灯、清明祭祀、端午赛龙舟、七夕乞巧、中秋拜月等节庆，也有「舞龙不舞狮」「食鱼不能翻」等特别的习俗。[1][4]近年冯氏族人修复了清代绣花社旧址紫霞居，设为岭南箫笛文化空间。[4]
