基立南社区隶属广州市海珠区，由素社街道管辖，因位于基立村以南而得名，2002年8月成立。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区由素社街道的第十五、第十六居委会（全部）与第二居委会的第十四、第十六两部分合并而成，2002年8月定名基立南居委会。2024年11月，获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
