菜园东社区是广州市越秀区大东街道下辖的社区。因居委会办公点在菜园东路而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区居民委员会的名称确定于1988年，属大东街道；它的前身是东华东街第八居委会（1985年起），再前为第八居委会（1982年），延安四街第六居委会（1969年），可追溯到1953年的东华东街第六居委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年11月获广州市绿色社区认定；2019年9月，进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之列；2024年11月，成为广州市充分就业社区。[1]
