文德社区是广东省广州市越秀区大塘街道下辖的社区[2]，属主城区，邮政编码510030[1]。清代辖内已有文德路，社区取其名。文德路因路东有文德里而得名；另一种说法是光绪年间（1875至1909年）这里设有广雅书局，文人学者聚集，故以“文德”相称[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1953年，设立文德居委会；1958年，大塘街人民公社创办之时易名为第三居委会；1966年，易名为文德革命领导小组；1976年，易名为第八居委会；1987年，复用文德居委会之名；1998年，大塘、芳草两街道合并，居委会名称照旧。二〇〇二年的调整中，长塘、大塘、中四西、朝阳、文德五个居委会的一部分地段重组，仍称文德居委会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，入选「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度名单）；2024年11月，获评「广州市充分就业社区（村）」（2024年度）[1]。
