北横社区是广东省广州市越秀区大塘街道下辖的社区[2]，属主城区，邮政编码510030[1]。居委会的办公点设在北横街，社区由此得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，设立第三居委会；1985年，易名为第六居委会；1986年，易名为第十一居委会；1987年，易名为北横街居委会；二〇〇二年，调整一部分地段，易名为北横社区居民委员会，名称延续至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，入选「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年度名单）；2024年11月，获评「广州市充分就业社区（村）」（2024年度）[1]。
