黄华塘社区属广州市越秀区建设街道，居委会设在黄华中约外街12号。[1]名称来自明代末年此地所建的黄华寺，以及东濠涌边低洼处较多的池塘。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区由1953年成立的大东街道第五居委会发展而来，1985年称第十一居委会，1986年改为建设街道第十二居委会，1988年叫黄华路居委会，到1998年定名为黄华塘居委会，此后名称未改。[1][2]

社区建设[edit]

据百度百科，辖区包括南洋电器厂及周边地块，该片区采用旧城混合改造的办法，新增了幼儿园、文化中心等公共配套。[2]社区还参与了建设街「互联网+长者配餐服务」体系，试点由「孝老骑手」免费送餐，形成步行10至15分钟可到的助餐网络。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，黄华塘社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年11月被认定为广州市充分就业社区。[1][2]
