中马路社区位于广州市越秀区建设街道，居委会设在建设二马路10号，因辖内的主干道建设中马路而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的源头是1953年设立的工人家属委员会。[1]1985年底，这片地方归大东街第六、第九居委会管理，次年建设街道成立后划入其中，1987年1月称建设街第十一居委会，1988年起称中马路居委会。[1]1998年，原中马路居委会和东十一街、四马路两个居委会并为一个，仍叫中马路居委会，沿用至今。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

中马路社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月公布）；它还是广州市绿色社区（2021年11月确定）、广州市充分就业社区（2024年11月认定），并在2023年8月进入广州市「最美慈善社区（村）」的入围名单。[1][2]同年，广州市林业和园林局党委认领了这里的环境改造事项，捐赠树苗用于绿化。[2]
