葵蓬社区是广州市荔湾区茶滘街道下辖的社区，由原来的葵蓬村改制而来。[1] 社区名称源于旧时村中民房多以葵叶、蓬草搭成棚寮。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，葵蓬村在明朝正统年间立村，1949年前隶属番禺县的崇文二十四乡。1990年成立村委会，到2002年村改为居委会，名称保留至今。[1] 原芳村区东漖镇的葵蓬村，是1992年茶滘街道的前身之一。[2]

社区建设[edit]

2024年5月公示的茶滘街微改造项目，范围包括红棉、金兰、芬芳和葵蓬四个社区，内容有车行道路改造、楼道整治和绿化改造等。[3] 街道上的葵蓬革命老区活动中心在2024年重新开馆，所在的是凤溪村，详见凤溪社区。[4]
