广州市住建部门于2021年11月将其列入当年的绿色社区名单；该社区另入选2018年度广东省创建民主法治示范村（社区）的单位，名单2019年9月公布；2024年广州市充分就业社区名单于2024年11月公布，社区在列。[1]

文化[edit]

清平社区与冼基、沙基、和平三个社区一带规划建设岭南中医药文化街区，微改造项目位于广安钱庄旧址的建设控制地带内，2025年5月广州市文物局原则同意其设计方案（第二稿）。[2]
